Awakening
Say hello, wave goodbye,
A heartfelt epitaph, a new borns cry,
A tangible symmetry between life and death,
the last waking moment, a babys first breath.

Beyond the stars
Worlds collide unseen to human eye,
infinity way beyond the night sky,
We are but a spec of dust floating in natures dominion
joined intrinsically as one.

Low
Monday blues, a heart of stone,
Out of sorts, out of mind, so alone,
Feelings so strong threaten to engulf me,
A clear mind is needed, the way ahead to see.

Falling
Rose petals fluttering in the soft eternal breeze.
windswept beauty, haunting, harrowing, hollow,
A mask of content covers the sorrow within,
free spirited, the path of truth, there to follow

Autumns gold
Autumns princess standing pristine in the beautiful stillness of the morn,
Beauty knows no bounds, purity personified, natures first born,
We are at one today rejoicing in the tranquil, white dusted view
A day to embrace loved ones, those close and far, a day to embrace you

Glistening
Eyes cold as ice, black as coal,
staring lifelessly ahead to a distant dream,
The sun will not rise today,
I am left with memories of bygone days,
Childrens laughter and a free flowing stream,
The stars were as one back then,
I hope and pray they will unite once again.

Lifes embrace
The sun peeks over the rooftops nervously at first; with stillness all around, it rises majestically like a Phoenix from the ashes to survey his kingdom below! The dark, oppressive air is vanquished for a short while at least: We rejoice and embrace the beauty of the day ahead! We are at one

Belong
Autumns gold and green,
is a joy to behold,
swirling mist shrouding the land,
as the heron surveys rich pickings below,
we will walk out to winter,
dressed in white and ready for the long sleep
Nature can be a cruel mistress when provoked,
but I remain calm in her serene beauty all the same

The spirit of Christmas
Tears of regret frozen to winters morbid face,
An icy heart entwined in cobwebbed lace,
It's the time for giving, for being a friend indeed,
It's a time to make the world happier for those desperately in need,
There are Angels for even the poorest soul,
A candle of hope providing warmth, solace this Yuletide Noel

Dark
Darkness engulfs the soul,
Night shrouding the daylight with a cloak of envy,
Jealous of the sultry, shimmering sunset that illuminated the skyline,
Demonic with dark despair,
Desperately fighting against the inevitable dawn.
Night turns into day, twill always be so,
But until the exultant sunrise raises his head, the light of a flickering candle will provide an effervescent glow.
