I screamed 4U,
The pain in my gut was the warning.
The visions of betrayal were vivid.
And the prophecy of dreams became fact.
You fell from my grace…
Lost soul of disgrace,
You hid behind the slamming of a door.
Dora, you become a metaphor…for a Mexican whore.

Lt. Dan…This here is my Jenny.
She's a sluts.
I like sluts Lt. Dan.
There the only kind that will sleep with me.
My Jenny doesn't smell like cigarettes.
I hate cigarettes.
I like chocolate.
Some women are like chocolate Lt. Dan.
I like when my Jenny wears her guitar.
She plays real well.
But I don't like it when she plays me.
My Jenny's a whore.

I like shrimp.
But I don't like crabs.

Mamma Snake
Thank you for your love and kindness.
Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for your giving spirit.
You'll always shine, 'cause Mamma Snake must.
You rear me right and show devotion.
You sacrifice and give your all.
I make mistakes but you forgive me.
At times, I'm sure I drove you ‘up the wall.'
I am not perfect but I turned out alright.
I've made a few mistakes.
You love me when I'm good or bad.
You will always be Mamma Snake.
You memorize verses and teach God's Word.
You pass out tracks to help the lost.
You helped the poor even when you were broke.

I See a Snake

I see a snake through the glass,
A dangerous creature hiding behind a beautiful mask.
Unfamiliar to its charms,
It causes my heart to beat in alarm.
I am more familiar with the silence of a clawed foot.
A sleek coat silhouetted on a mountain, the cat stood.
It's eyes shine brightly in the moon's light.
An echo of a roar in the night.
I only know of one Snake far away for our county's sake.
Glimpses of him shine through his words.
Sadness and despair is heard.
To me I respectfully recognize him as a cat in the wild.
With sharp claws and long fangs, the earth's fearsome child.
