Lil Girl

Remember that lil girl?
She was so pretty
Remember that lil girl?
She was so smart
Remember that lil girl?
You constantly said you loved her
cherised her, never wanted 2 see her go
Remember that lil girl?
She had dreams and a head a curls
But one day that lil girl, she straightened her hair, grew up and disappeared
Well...you thought she was gone
You said she lost her values
Her morals and herself
You said she tried to love everyone but herself
That lil girl was dismayed, betrayed and potrayed as no one special
You used to tell that lil girl she could be anything she wanted to be
I only wish I could tell you that the lil girl you remember was me
