Voice to the void
Borne on a solar wind
tumbling through infinity,
emasculated by my negligibility,
a vacuous identity
in a sea without end.
I am only
significant within
containment's familiar boarders,
but with interstellar weaving thoughts
of eternity;
my mental strength turns its back on me,
and I am left distressingly
alone.
Synapses suspension
a psychological barrier
that even my imagination
can not penetrate
to comprehend...

Warning Signs
If years have passed and your children are grown
The mortgage is paid and you have a second home
And in the garage are Mercedes’ and Jag’s and parked
At the dock is a yacht.
If you find your wife in a black tennis dress
Her face all covered by a gossamer shroud
At the funeral of an old friend,
You had better check around for emergent webs,
And a bright red spot on a shiny black bug
The next funeral your attend
Could well be your own...

So long farewell goodbye
your tears won’t buy me a beer
Someday when your young again I’ll
come home again
So long farewell goodbye
She left on her Harley
a thunder of pipes
was all that I could hear
She looped back around
and gave me a biker check wave
as the front wheel began to rise
a wheelie they call it
a cycle display
of contempt and delight at having her way
