Fire is A Blessing

Fire is a blessing,
For everything hot it rims,
The little flames flicker at church,
While you sing your share of hymns.

Fire that warms your room,
In the numbing chill of the night,
While you drift into a restless sleep,
And dream of soaring kites.The fire on your candles,

The fire on your candles,
For which you do ignite,
They emit such a beautiful smell,
It is truly a lovely sight.

Sometimes we think that fire
Can be shy and be coy,
But if left untended,
it is sure to destroy.
