Sugar Bear

Money isn't everything

Money isn't everything
Just something that we like
It gives us almost anything
If we can match the price
The feel of dollar bills
Being wadded in your hands
Can fufill your greatest thrills
And makes a boy feel like a man
The power of the green
Is something we all can share
For it only is made from trees
And yet trees are everywhere
Its quite easier to spend
Then it is to make
But its something we pretend
That we officially hate
Money isn't everything
Though it can save your life
But it can bring you great things
If you're saving it right

You Give Me Fever

Hey Baby
I think I caught your Bug
Ever since you touched me, Oh
Baby, I’m burning up
I’ve got the sweaty palms
You gave me a hazy sight
The attractions just too strong
Oh, You give me
Butterflies

You Give Me Fever
All through the night
Take my temperature, Oh
You make me flame inside
You Give Me Fever
Oh No Baby, you’re just too much
Help me tame this fire
Cause baby it’s burning up

Hey Baby

Running on

Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from

It's amazing
You're acting so crazy
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping

Taking off in full drive
Afraid of the full ride
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping

Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from

This is America: Better know English

America was once the magnificent place
Where all immigrants wanted to escape
So they illegally come here, as illegal aliens
Hiding in the back of our American vans
Now our schools and jobs require multiple languages
When we’re the Americans, we’re supposed to speak English!
And we do and just because they don’t
Doesn’t mean their language is a demand we should know
Don’t come to America if you don’t know the language
I’m just being realistic, I’m not being racist
Don’t put up store signs if they’re not readable
You’re in America; English is the main language you should know
Then they’re pissed because people won’t help out their business
But their forgetting us Americans don’t speak their language
We don’t go to Mexico demanding English classes
So why should they own the right to demand us Spanish?
I love the language, and everything BUT
THIS IS AMERICA look our history up!
Then tell me if French should be required
Where in the hell in the time line is that desired?

Give me a Hero!

What is a Fantasy?
What is a Dream?
If they’re as true as they seem
Than can I make this Reality?

As I walk through the narrow stream
Soaked in make believe
My only thought is to yell and scream
To bring the missing piece I need

I need a Hero
Tired of falling for Zero’s
He’s got to be tough
It’s got to be love
Strong enough to protect my soul

I want a Hero
Watching me sleep through my window
He’s got to be smart
Key to my heart

Family's End

I was born into a world were family is everything
When one is down, the others forget the world to help them out
Sharing cares, and sharing paryers around the table for a feast
Had me believe that's what that small word means
Now lately I don't know what to think
Of the changes this family seeks
I mean, I want us all to be happy forever
But that just seems impossiable with us all together
Now I know mama, you don't feel the same for dad
Dad I understand mama makes you mad
And ya'll are here just for us kids
Not as lovers, just as friends
We're the key to this family
And when we're off the lock there's nothing left to be
Our parents will be appreciated seperatlly
Cause thats what it takes for them to be happy
And all the stories we would say
All the games that we would play
All the memories
Got me in disbelief

So Here I Am

There you are, here I am
Holding back, what I wish to say again
I can do it, but I can't seem to find the words
So I keep to myself, so sheltered

And once you leave, they come right back
But I don't have the courage to state the fact
Because I don't want changes to be
And I don't want you different towards me
So I kept, it to, myself
I knew what I wanted us to be
But I kept, it to, myself
And held it in when I wanted to speak

So here I am.

Now we're 16, at a party, of a friend of mine
You are here, and I wanted to say it, this time
But then I saw her, she kissed you
That struck deep; I broke in two

Maybe I'm crazy

I am not Emo
I’m not a Goth
I’m perfectly normal
But I know what it feels to be lost
Stuck in the crowd
Can’t hear a sound
Feels like I’m pushed back in the distance
Can’t come out
Do people see?
Do they believe?
Or am I just crazy from being lonely?

The words burst from my lips as I scream
But the people around me don’t seem to hear a thing
Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?
The world is acting like they don’t know about me
Am I forgotten? Am I just crazy?
Am I just lost? Am I just lonely?
Somebody hear me
