Lets just say that we were together
what would this love mean
All the words we spoke will be inbetween
if you and i were together
Nothing to stop us from loving
the pain will stop and
Goodness will viberate throughout
what if we could be together
Shall I tell you the truth
i've been holding onto
That I felt for you
long before i knew what a woman I was
Only you I seem to think of
teasing i use to pass off so
No one would know of this feeling I had

American Dream

American dream
held on for so long
in the memories of my forefathers
I want to seek it out
still prejudice hides
in so many places
Keeping hidden
what the world frowns on
what the world hides from
Still its there as real as
it was yesterday
so many forms of it
Ashamed to say
its in the big house
right there on Pennsylvania
Covered in white
it hides
hendering the American Dream
Stopping what over forefathers
deemed possible

What Magic

what magic lies in his eyes
the spendor of love conceived in one night
suddenly hopefull of what tommorow brings
i wonder why such beauty has yet to recgonized
to see in his eyes love for someone so shy
to see in his eyes the glow that i sit and wonder
how such a person landed here
in my arms in my life
i have to ask
what magic lies in his eyes
to make me forget all the wrong
all the evil that has been done to me
to just to be happy with such beauty
such strength in these hands he hold me with
what magic corses through his body into mines
what magic is this that makes me and him one within
