Sutha rajakumar

National Service

Wake up at five in the early dusk
Sleep at midnight with howl of owls
A life of military
Bounded by rules
Scolded by trainers
Secluded in a camp surrounded by dense jungle
Deprived of modern civilization was my life
No internet no television no handphone
How am i going to survive was my thought
But i made it through
Though i lived a life of ancient man
But a new experience it was
And a new journey was embarked
A stint of three months it was
A life time memory it will be
Best thing was friends
Worst thing was food
Cherish the best
Forget the rest
