Purple edged moments I no longer have you

There are purple edged moments
Once coloured a different hue,
Purple edged are my feelings
Now that I no longer have you.

Yellow bright the morning
When you were here with me;
From evening 'til the dawn came
You were all that I could see.

Moments spent with you my love,
Have warmed me through and through
Come back, come back as soon as you can
My needs revolve around youPurple edged moments.

A sweet love breath away

Faces across a table
a sweet love breath away,
yet only one can drink
neither wishing to move away.

eyes searching eyes
for hidden passion not yet revealed,
innuendo disguising love
but tenderness not concealed.

hearts a-thumping
outwards appearances calm
give-away movements
a gentle brush of fingertips
on waiting motionless arm.

words enjoyed
yet meanings sometimes delayed,
the simple tenderness and passion
absorbed and stored,
