The Days They Fly
Hark! The sun it rises
But the mourning dove cries
As morning it dies
Lo, high sun's rise
Hearken! Noontide arrives
But soon the meadowlark sings
And takes to its wings
West, as evening bell rings
Hark! The night the moon illumines
Now hear raven's crow
Those that tarry below
Now midnight you know
Hearken! Morning approaches
Heron's white wings flows
As the seed of dawn grows
No longer caught in dark throes

I'd Wish You'd Gone With Me
I'd wish'd you'd gone with me
When I travelled a road by the sea
with farset eyes and firmset heart aflame
I knew you couldn't be to blame
But be it all the same
I'd wish'd you'd gone with me
When I travelled that road by the sea.
I'd wish'd you'd heard the ocean's song
For then you'd know where you belong
For the sea it sang to me
with waves that rang so free
and in that surf I could see
I'd wish'd you'd gone with me
when I travelled that road by the sea

Cliff Above View
Thanks be to strength, that keeps us in the long night
Thanks to weakness, with which, our soul learns right
Thank you beauty, a place of silence and light
Oh Beauty, you mute all else, make the spirit take flight
In our ears and heart, easing fears to peace impart
And wisdom, Lady Truth's dear sister
Who opens the mind and thus the eyes
From darkest valleys unto the skies
In which we see from the simple, the great
From the plain a grand estate
And thus, see the obvious
And also, the concealed
That most are oblivious
To few revealed
Take Lady truth
And wisdom
In hand
