Vanquish

Teardrops of last winter years
Is a graves wine
To a hurting heart.
Each dropped of tears -
Is a cleansing balm
To a broken soul.

Let it dropped - until -
Your soul is healed
From the mires
Of broken dreams.

Tears is a vanquish
Of today’s sorrow
But an appointment
Of tomorrows duty.

Sigh! So cry like a baby
For morrow
Is a fine day.

Memory of Tikling Island

On a mystical night,
In the Island of Tikling,
He strummed his guitar,
And sung his lullaby.
His voice magical carried by,
The summer wind.

As I lay in my cozy bed,
He strummed his guitar once more,
While the other poured fermented drink.

I like a bird,
With a broken wing,
A traveler,
Lay in silence,
Listening to his lullaby,
Until my tired eyes,
Hushed me to sleep.

Beyond Border

Beyond borders is a possibility
Of Love or hate.
A song bird sings
A lullaby resonate.

Indifference amplified,
With love harmony is unified.
Life with zest in the nest
As lovers inclined to each other,
And in surrender,
They suggest.

Racism is litigation
Need to change in how we view another,
Look at the inner core of a man
And beyond skin deep.

Love your brother as yourself,
Look at the heart
Not the color,

Dedicated to all Poets

Silence must be heard
Orator is standing up on stage
To share his ode of love
Of poetry –
License or non license;
She or he skewer
And capture my imagination.
Words with chameleon meaning;
Like a dagger that pierces the heart and soul.
Let the mind flow
Like a song sang harmoniously
On stage, or without –
So as the poetry -
Written in pen with rhythm;
Themes of joy or melancholy –
Whatever your mind says
Write it in the pages of your
Rhetoric aces.

Little Africa

I saw little Africa in your face,
Bold and handsome in your case.
I saw a door of hope,
A light that will bring greatness.

I saw a timid smile,
Earthly yet with great courage.
I saw a paradigm of self-reliance
Robust with stardust in your eyes.

I saw little Africa a dawn of hope.
A hero for all, at the end of day.
You are the future of tomorrow,
A wisdom for those who are forgotten.

Timid smile, yet with sparkling eyes.
I saw wisdom coiled beneath your head.
Grace and strength be upon your brow.
Heaven may bless your hearts desire.

Red Rose and Chardonnay

A dinner with chardonnay
Plates of love whilst piano play
A love song of long ago.
She sat by the table
A hands folded like napkin in array
And red roses on the table
Of two love birds
Today are their anniversary.
She excused herself
As the waiter arranged the table.
Today is their day
But her lover has another.
She waited for an hour
For he promised to surrender
The love he has for her.
She begged him not to part
But…he’s not here.
Nor his shadow emerged
Red rose and chardonnay
are now abandoned- by the table.

A Mentor

From this day on
You inspired me to be a poet,
Here I unleashed my thoughts.
They rang bravely
Predestined to be
Hemmed like a woven cloth.
You and I like a seed,
Scattered to bloom
Like the lily in the field,
To be the strength of
A divided world.
Some will catch us
And will enjoy our petals
To be looked at,
Or admired
Or be tossed back again
In the wind,
And will float in the river,
Valleys and oceans.
But the important thing is

Lucifer's War

My father’s house is destroyed

Due to inhalation of poisonous racism

That ruined the entire nation.

How could that be? He created the human race -

Yet here we are fighting against tribal ground,

We claimed we are under desolation,

Proclaiming the tidbits of our existence,

Fighting for freedom? Or are we just ignorant?
