Baby its you

Baby it's you
Who I think about every second
Baby it's you
Who I want to touch every moment
Baby its you
Who I wanna kiss everytime I see your lips

Stained Soul-mates

Two love birds sitting in their new home
Reminiscing their life as Mr. and Mrs.
Their rings shine with colorful ink:
Happiness, love, and grief
Happiness is a deep red.... as if blood
Love is a light pink like spring flowers
Grief is a horrible dark green...... as if toxins
All of these colors stain them together
Stained soul-mates

Happy ending

She spent her life worrying over everyone
She spent her days trying to get her kids the life they wanted
She spent her nights trying to convince her husband not to leave
She tried everything
But it never worked
Her worries never went away
Her kids ended up with dead-end lives
Her husband ended up with a 23 year old blonde
And all she wanted was a happy ending

Her hands trembled,
Like an old wrinkled red leaf on an oak tree.
Her breath caught in her chest,
A caged bird, stalked by a Tabby.
A drum thrums in her chest,
Wildly growing faster.
Her head jerks,
Violently shaking no.
Her eyes dart to the shiny black object,
Resting on the linoleum.
A small weapon of mass destruction.
Her stomach churned,
The sour taste just before the storm.
