ps: I Love You
After we have
Cried with Sadness
Grieved with Death
Forgiven Remorse
Smiled at Sweetness
Laughed with Humor
When the Story has been told
When memories were played back
New chapters written
Painful chapters erased
The bold and essential part still remains
At the far end corner of this letter
PS: I LOVE YOU

Oops! i swore in Gods Presence
I swear...
I Swear to tell the truth
The whole truth and nothing but the truth
So help me God!
That's why I'll correct you if you are:
Over privileged and undermining Snob
Sexist and gender oppressing Sob
Judgmental religious freak
Stereotypical and racist ignoramous
Because i swore to tell the truth
The whole truth and nothing but the truth
So....God helped me
So go on....tell Satan and his friends
Just because I SAY SO

The flower in the Wild
As i walk past hurriedly
I notice this violet flower staring back at me
It lies quietly yet loudly screaming with beauty
I stop!
Amazed at the sight
As i bend down to pick it out and make it mine
I freeze!
Ashamed at my Selfishness because not everything beautiful has to be mine
let it grow....its fine!
And i walk away yet i wonder
Why i had never noticed this splendor
How i always noticed the overgrown Bush but never the Flower
Oblivious to beauty, my quest for lifes treasures left me blind
....Blind to the flower in the wild

I’m not angry at you God

…..No I’m not angry at Life
I’m angry at You
….No….No…..
Oh what the S#%t?
Who F#%*ing cares?
IM JUST ANGRY! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Angry that you allowed so much Pain in my life
Allowed people and their selfish ambitions to corrupt me
Make me the victim of Deceit
Make me the object of wrath and violence
Why did you take him away…just when I needed him?
I was supposed to look back and laugh at my innocence
I look back in disgust
I come to You in brutal honesty
Blazing anger
And excruciating pain
….I plead for my innocence

We meet people all the time....
We meet people all the time
Rich people with nothing
Poor people with the world
Kind people
Not so kind people
Funny people
People who think they are funny
People who laugh at other peoples pain
People who change the course of our lives
People whom we change their direction
Inspirational people
Caring people
Intelligent people
History tells us of people who create World misery
And the ones who end it
People who charm the socks off us (while we are wearing our shoes!)
People who steal our affections
People who give us undeserved affections
All the time we meet people

It takes a stronger Man
It takes a stronger man
To value a woman’s strength
To encourage her strength
Not to be threatened by it
But see it as a sign of his own strength
In a world where some men need weak women to feel strong
Where some men get validation from physical dominance
Where dependent, submissive and needy women are celebrated
A Media that commercialised self-disrespecting and confused girls
Yes, I stand my ground!
It takes a stronger man to love a strong woman
Not to be wavered by societies misrepresentation of masculinity
Not to conform to the patterns of this world
To understand and recognise that in a woman’s strength lies hidden vulnerability
To know that it takes a strong woman to show vulnerability

Mama Zimbabwe
Mme Zimbabwe (seSotho word for Mother)
You were the overflowing Breadbasket of Africa
The Curvatious, tall and proud daughter of Africa
Until Mzilakazi sold you to Britain for mere bag of beads and Sugar
And they took you away
You weeped as your Children....
As your children suffered under the oppresing rule of those colonial demons
But as your children fed from the suculant breast of Mama Africa, The Queen of african soil
Thier strength grew and so did thier fight for freedom
And in 1980 you saw a promising Dawn despite the bloodshed that spread
What went Wrong Mme Zimbabwe, you lie mute?
You lie hopeless and your bruised soul evidence of abuse
The very same children who fought for your emancipation now corrupt, split, spit and kill the very essence of you
However even though your frail Body falls defeated
And you are now the laughing stock of the World
In your eyes i see resiliant strength
