The child that plays
Upon the sands
Of yesterdays soon sorrow

The child that laughs
Within ones heart
Of yesterdays tomorrow

The child that smiles
Upon ones soul
Of yesterdays warm light

Is the child that lives
Within each breath
Of yesterdays delight

Deadly Truth

The devil, he speaks
His piercing blue eyes
Forever he seeks
For truth bearing lies

The innocent will fall
The raging set free
These memories call
For truth to now see

Ponder the thought
Where mysteries lie
Danger we sought
For the truth to die

In victory we smile
My demons here hide
Walk the green mile
For truth be denied

The sweet smile upon your lips
Smooth movement of your hips
Charming gaze
Eyes ablaze

I see the animal in you

The softness of your skin
Your ever cheeky grin
Killer nails
Crazy tales

I feel the animal in you

The emotion in your tone
Intensely rich groan
Harsh speech
Now preach

Tamed

It is but she who loves without the fear
Haunting the past of each tomorrow
Destiny shown in the heart of every tear
Naught can prevent the nearing sorrow

A beating heart longs for such pain
As to draw a sword from one’s sheath
Wisdom shall prevail in this hidden stain
For here truth will rise from beneath

Blooming lust knows not my name
Destiny falls upon my beating breast
Wisdom to such desire shall tame
As love, and life, will be my jest

Dreamer's Gift

The image built beyond the sleeping heart
Knows not the rhythm sung beyond the hills
A dreamer reaches out to grasp the beauty
Knowing not the absence he there fulfills

The radiant moon peers upon the lone dreamer
Its love splayed across the land of darkness
Whispers travel amongst the dancing trees
Wispy winds over the dreamer’s skin caress

The breaking morning shines upon the land
Songs of nature travel amid the warming breeze
Summer echoes its joy across the mountains
This day, this land, this moment, to seize
