What Is Beauty

is it the outside
that shows how beautiful we are
that if we look good there
then in life and love we will go far
just because they look good
that really does not mean
that they are the most beautiful person
deep down inside within
you can still be the most beautiful person
ever to be known
even if on the outside
it is not shown
these are the people who
sparkle and shine so bright
inside these people are
such a beautiful sight
so what is beauty
is it the outside or within
well i dont know about you
but the inside should always win

How To Be Happy

I copy, I smile, I pretend to be
Happy and having a good time
If I do this then maybe happiness
I will eventually find

Laughing away even though
Inside I just want to die
How can I push these feelings aside
And not break down and cry

Willing to try and do anything
To feel just one ounce of happiness
But at the moment nothing seems to be working
All there is, is worthlessness

Trying to change everything about me
But why cant I ever feel
Wheres my excitement, motivation and enjoyment
Why cant theres feelings ever be real

My Pray

Give me the courage to go outside
With my head held confidently high
Make me face the outside world
Instead of hiding in my room wanting to die

Give me the power to confront and shout back
To those who feel they need to show me disrespect
To pluck up the courage to voice my opinion
To stop being such a nervous wreck

Help find me the strength that I need so much
To eat what ever I choose
To skip the exercise without a care
and not be bothered about weight I want to lose

Please show me how I can start to enjoy life
And be thankful that I live each day
To show me that my depression can be beat
And that it will all go away
