Loveless
Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
My love for you is dead
But I have no need to mourn
We're just going through the motions,
We both know there's nothing left.

Broken
Broken,
Like a thousand shards of glass,
Bloody on the floor.
Still here,
Too afraid to walk out the door.
The hands that used to caress
Now inflict pain and suppress.
No love is left.
Broken,
Tattered, torn and scarred,
What once was love
Is now battered, bruised and marred.

In Memory Of Kaytlin
She is in every breath taken,
Every move made,
The fire of life burns the eyes,
Pray to God for shade.
She was here for a short time,
Yet her essence still remains,
Her memory is kept in actions and words,
But life will never be the same.
Love has no meaning now,
For she is no more,
Life can never be again,
What it was before.

Open Wounds
Tear drops like rain,
Seep into the open wounds of my soul,
Burning, cleansing, staining my mind,
But doing nothing to make me whole.
Smiles don't come often,
In my heart,
Love does not reside,
Only pain and sadness,
That never seem to subside.
Life is what you make it,
Unless you haven't made it at all,
Everyone that thinks they can rise up,
Will surely stumble and fall.

Screaming In My Head
Just thinking about the not so distant past,
Life was so carefree
Easy.
Not everything heals with time.
Life goes by in the twinkling of an eye
God's a great listener,
But He never answers the question: WHY?
Screaming of the mind,
Seek and you'll never find,
Open eyes suddenly become blind.
So far ahead,
Yet left behind,
Two people's lives intwined,
Yet seperate entities,
Screaming in MY head.

Cancer Signs
Looked over,
Passed by,
Forgotten about.
Why try?
Poked,
Prodded;
Torn apart,
Damn it, Doctor,
Have a heart.
Daughter,
Sister,
Aunt,
Wife,
Mother,
Friend,
All means nothing in the end.
Mind weak
Body sore
Can't stand chemo any more.
Here one minute,

Love Can Change The World
Love has no definition.
There is no explanation or reason.
It's just an opinion.
One opinion may not change the world,
But it can change one person.
Sometimes when one person has an opinion
Others listen
And many are influenced by that one person.
One opinion can't change the world.
But one person-one man DID.
With love Jesus gave himself
For humanity's shortcomings.
The world felt the power of one person.
Love CAN change the world
If we let it.

Complete Me
Your hands caress me
Like rolling waves on to the sandy beaches of Paradise
Your kisses bless me
Your love is holy and sacred
Like religious text
The beauty of what we have
Is that it's not just sex
There is so much more
So much more of you
So much more of me
I've never thought someone would totally
Complete me
So completely.
But you do
And it's true
That I'm not myself
When you're near me
You're inside my thoughts
Listen closely
Can you hear me?

Inner Visions of A Dream
Cascading through my mind
As if endless,
No space, no time
A vision of a life
I have yet to find.
A dream deferred,
So its not yet mine.
What was so distant
Seems so near.
What was invisible,
Is now visible.
Crystal clear.
Inner visons of a dream,
Searching deep inside my mind.
I find that I have lost myself,
Somewhere in space and time.
Where is the life I thought I knew
The one I used to know
It has been displaced
Maybe even replaced

Suffocating (Twisted Love Song)
Lies wrap around you.
Suffocating,
Reciprocating,
It started with a school of little white lies,
But now you're graduating,
It's devestating.
You had such power over me,
I once was blind but now I see,
But it's still blurry,
To me.
Truth with you is not real,
Everything is lies,
Every time you open your mouth,
A piece of me dies.
Your words bludgeon my soul,
You were the half of me
That made me whole.
The lies are out of control
Suffocating,
Degrading.
